The pink hues of the Andes with Enigma Peru! The Salinas de Maras (Maras Salt Mines) stand at 3,380m (11,089ft) in the Urubamba Valley outside of Cusco. These nearly 5,000 salt pans are believed to have been developed in pre-Inca times and are still hand-harvested by local families in the area!
