Arabian Adventures is pleased to introduce their latest tailored tour, crafted to help guests discover the magic of Salalah — Oman’s lush southern jewel, where misty monsoon landscapes blend seamlessly with ancient heritage and untouched beaches.
The six-day trip begins with an arrival in Salalah, where travelers will settle into their accommodations. On the second day, they will embark on a city tour (not available on Fridays) that includes a visit to the stunning Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, known for its intricate Islamic architecture and beautiful stained tiles. The tour continues with a stop at the Omani Heritage Gallery, offering insights into traditional life and the cultural contributions of Omani women. Participants will also stroll through tropical garden farms filled with coconut, banana, and papaya trees, and explore the Al Baleed Archaeological Park and the Museum of the Frankincense Land. Shopping for frankincense and silver at Al Haffa Souq will be a highlight, along with a photo opportunity at Al Husn Palace before returning to their hotel for the night.
The third day features a full-day safari to the east, starting at Ain Razat Springs, a lush oasis that thrives year-round. Travelers will tour Taqah Castle, a coastal fortress that offers panoramic views and showcases local artifacts. The adventure continues at Wadi Darbat, a picturesque valley adorned with waterfalls and ideal picnic spots. Other notable stops include the dramatic Tawi Ateer Sinkhole and Teeq Cave, followed by an ascent to the Jebel Samhan Plateau for breathtaking mountain vistas. The day will conclude with a visit to the Anti-Gravity Point, where cars mysteriously roll uphill in neutral. This excursion includes an English-speaking guide, entrance fees, and lunch, with an overnight stay in Salalah.
On the fourth day, another full-day safari to the west awaits, beginning with a visit to Khor Rori and the Sumhuram Archaeological Park, an ancient frankincense port. The day will end at Al Mughsail Beach, renowned for its dramatic blowholes. Similar to the previous safari, this day also includes an English-speaking guide, entrance fees, and lunch, with another overnight stay in Salalah.
Day five is designated as a leisure day, allowing travelers to relax at their hotel or explore Salalah at their own pace. Finally, on the sixth day, they will transfer from their hotel to Salalah International Airport (SLL) for their departure, concluding their memorable trip.
