Authentic Argentina presents El Refugio Ranch, one their differentiators. The experience curated at El Refugio ranch is called the Gaucho Retreat. The ranch is 3,000 acres and can accommodate 44 people. The Argentine Gaucho is one of the most important cultural symbols of Argentina and can be considered the equivalent of the American cowboy. They are greatly admired and renowned in legends, folklore and literature. Being that we have real Gauchos at the ranch, the guests will learn about the Gaucho lifestyle and philosophy. We will also educate the guests in areas of wellness and sustainability of a real, working ranch in the pampas of Argentina.
This can be a 1 day or a multi-day experience. While at the Gaucho Retreat, learning how to ride horses the gaucho way and how to prepare the local asado (barbeque) are part of the authentic experience. At the Gaucho Retreat, you'll be able to take a step back in time and experience the rural life of an Argentine Gaucho.
